La ligne du Pouzin à Privas était une ligne ferroviaire française à voie normale non exploitée qui reliait la gare du Pouzin située sur la ligne de Givors-Canal à Grezan à Privas préfecture du département de l’Ardèche.
Elle constitue la ligne 804 000 du Réseau ferré national.
Cette ligne avait été concédée à titre éventuel à la toute nouvelle Compagnie des chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée (PLM) par la loi du 19 juin 1857. La promesse de concession portait sur une ligne de Privas à la ligne de Lyon à Avignon (rive gauche du Rhône, emplacement à déterminer) avec prolongement sur Crest. La ligne a été déclarée d’utilité publique le 3 août 1859 rendant ainsi la concession définitive. Le tracé retenu passait par Le Pouzin, par ou près La Voulte-sur-Rhône et par ou près Livron.
Les travaux débutèrent en octobre 1859 et la ligne a été ouverte à l’exploitation le 17 février 1862. Elle a été fermée en totalité au service des voyageurs le 5 décembre 1938.
Le 24 septembre 1989, la section terminale aux abords de Privas a été fermée au service des marchandises et la ligne a été déclassée du PK 658,900 à 661,978 le 10 novembre 1989. Le 15 avril 2002, le reste de la ligne (PK 640,962 à 658,900) a été retranché du réseau ferré national. Ce retranchement a été annulé par le Tribunal administratif de Lyon le 16 novembre 2010, jugement confirmé par La Cour administrative d’appel de Lyon le 3 novembre 2011. Les terrains supportant la ligne ont été déclassés du domaine public ferroviaire par des décisions de RFF le 29 janvier 2014.
Les installations de la ligne ont été déposées avant le jugement d’annulation du retranchement. La ville de Privas est ainsi la seule préfecture de France métropolitaine sans desserte ferroviaire.

The line of Pouzin Privas was a French railway standard gauge untapped Pouzin that connected the station on the Givors-Canal line Grezan Privas prefecture of the Ardèche department.

This line had been granted to any title to the new Company of Paris railway in Lyon and the Mediterranean (PLM) by the law of 19 June 1857. The promise was for a concession line to line Privas Lyon to Avignon (left bank of the Rhone, location to be determined) with extension Crest. The line was declared a public utility 3 August 1859 making the final concession. The chosen route was through Le Pouzin, by or near Charmes-sur-Rhône by or near Livron.
Work began in October 1859 and the line was opened for operation on February 17, 1862. It was closed completely for passengers December 5, 1938.
On 24 September 1989, the end section near Privas was closed at the service of the goods and the line was decommissioned PK 658.900 to 661.978 10 November 1989. On 15 April 2002, the rest of the line (PK 640.962 to 658.900 ) was subtracted from the national rail network. This retrenchment was canceled by the Lyon Administrative Court on 16 November 2010, confirmed by the judgment Lyon Administrative Appeal Court on November 3, 2011. The land underlying the line were decommissioned railway public domain by the decisions of the RFF January 29, 2014.
Line facilities were filed before the cancellation entrenchment judgment. Privas is thus the only metropolitan France prefecture without rail service.
