Avant la transformation du clocher en 1885, elle avait la silhouette des autres églises d’Orthe (dites parfois anglaises) au clocher à deux pentes, porche couvert et tour latérale. Comme elles, sa construction est située aux alentours du XIIIème siècle .
L’église de Saint-Lon, avec un clergé nombreux, était très importante au XVIIIème et XIXème comme en témoigne l’important presbytère avec sa grange béarnaise en bas de la colline.
A voir : Les belles mosaïques du chœur (XVIIème ?) inspirées des mosaïques médiévales de Sordes, le majestueux bénitier en marbre (la cathédrale de Dax possède le même), autel et retable de la Vierge en bois polychrome, une galerie, et dans la sacristie un remarquable meuble antérieur à 1771.

Before the transformation of the bell tower in 1885, it had the silhouette of the other churches of Orthe (sometimes called English) to the steeple with two slopes, covered porch and lateral tower. Like them, its construction is located around the 13th century.
