Gallery argentiferous lead of Crod de Jacques

We stop to visit an old lead mine zinc from the information we got by old mine in the area this is just a bend .
Indeed, according to data BRGM is what we find as well.
The road was normally have redone you can park without problem on the old road , but then surprise crusher with a shovel are the site of the old road , the whole being closed by a barrier, but there is still room for us to park happily.
From there we equip to explore the area concerned the old road disappears under piles of rubble apparently there was a storage déblaies inert stone blocks and other concrete , today everything is being crushed can to backfilling , the future will tell.
We begin our research from the edges of the old road , in fact according to our information the gallery was just above the bridge over the creek.
Digging methodically place we notice a faint trace of a passage , we decided to borrow paying attention because the creek to dig a deep ravine before passing under the road.
We are moving to reach overhanging the stream and there we see the remains of a gallery on the other side .
We descend into the creek where there is little water, which allows us to easily pass through and then we go back to the other side to access the gallery.
It is closed by an imposing wall of the same type that we’ve seen on the closed galleries of our region.
We take this opportunity to sample it must be said that the conformation of the land that disappeared at Bing carried away by the stream but it is enough to find interesting traces of barite in effect we find galena .
We then pictures of the entrance and then we leave behind and after crossing in the other direction the stream, we notice a detail that draws our attention indeed the ravine there is a ledge just before going under deck , looking more closely we see a wall that could be the remains of another gallery .
We will immediately return to our vehicle to get our equipment.
We ‘re back with rope harness blocker jumar finally everything needed to descend and ascend the ravine equipment.
After we be equipped we begin a short descent into the ravine or we end the waterfront fortunately the height is low and our shoes are quite enough , we must say that we have boots in the car but we did not taken .
And there we confirmed our suspicions we are in front of a gallery of mine blocked there by now against us will not find any sample to sample the stream with laundry glaze it all away .
We go up the ravine and then after get our rope and our equipment we return to our car to make a point and there we find that the point given by the BRGM is well above the two points we have just visited , but alas our program load does not give us time to continue our research.
In any case we take note and next time we go back it will be necessary along the creek to see if there is a third gallery as indicated above
