La construction de l’église Saint-Pierre du prieuré a commencé au douzième siècle.
C’est l’abside romane, de forme heptagonale, qui en est la partie la plus ancienne. On remarquera, à l’extérieur, le long de la corniche supérieure de l’abside, des figures grimaçantes caractéristiques de l’art roman.
Le portail, qui avait été refait au dix-septième siècle dans le style gothique a été dépouillé de ses ornements à la Révolution. Le clocher a été surélevé au dix-neuvième siècle, quand l’église est devenue paroissiale: sa souche ancienne se distingue aisément de sa partie supérieure récente.

The construction of the Saint-Pierre priory church began in the twelfth century.
This is the Romanesque apse heptagonal, which is the oldest part. It will be noted on the outside, along the upper cornice of the apse, faces grimacing features of Romanesque art.
The portal, which was rebuilt in the seventeenth century in the Gothic style was stripped of its ornaments to the Revolution. The bell tower was raised in the nineteenth century, when the church became parish: the old stock is easily distinguished from its recent top.
