Nous allons vous parler du musée du charronnage et du car de Vanosc ce musée se compose de deux bâtiments l’un en haut du village et le deuxième a quelques centaines de mètres sur la route d’Annonay.
Le premier bâtiment est consacré au charronnage et carrossiers du début du XX siècle, dans cet espace on trouve des outils des photos d’époque des véhicules.
Le deuxième bâtiment lui est consacré aux cars avec des pièces rares comme un Rolland Pilain de 1929 un P32 Citroen ou un Isolbloc de 1955.
Le musée est ouvert du 1er mai au 30 septembre du mercredi au dimanche

Le musée rend aussi hommage à Joseph Besset enfant de Vansoc qui sera un pionnier de la construction des cars.
Né en 1890 à Vanosc il apprendra tout d’abord le métier de charron puis face au développement de l’automobile il carrossera sa première voiture une Rolland Pillain dans les années 20, ensuite il se tournera vers les cars en implantant son usine à Annonay.
Lors de l’exposition internationale de Lyon en 1938 il présentera le premier car à structure autoportante avec moteur à l’arrière.
Les cars de type Isobloc viennent de naître donnant naissance à une longue lignée de car notamment ceux de Irisbus-Iveco succédant a la société de Joseph Bess
